Aside from not airing my favorite episode, ( ;) ) it was good. Can never go wrong with Zone! Always a nice comfort.

This is pretty amazing. A YouTuber is releasing clips of Twilight Zone... in color! :o

Definitely using an AI. It does a pretty good job with faces but often miss the mark with other elements. There are scenes where the program struggles and leaves things black and white, or colors of clothes change. Far from perfect, but gives an idea of how the show might look colorized. Well, I found my new favorite channel! So very cool. :D

Lighting obviously plays havoc with the gamma in the color, but for an automated system without much if any tweaking it’s not bad, though does resemble more the kind of old-school "video paintbox" style rather than the pretty amazing digital coloring of more recent times.

William Shatner pays his respects to Donner’s memory: (Donner directed the famous plane ep! :))

And, of course, he did the pilot for a Warners Cartoons show, Pilbert:

Kind of funny to see this after the Me And My Shadow footage leak. Not so far away from each other.

RIP, Superman's other Dad.

Yeah, and I know a lot of people have said that the “abominable snowman” creature looks “ridiculous” because of budget constraints (unlike the terrifying version in the ‘83 film) but I never really felt that way…I think the original Zone version looks SO surreal and dreamlike that in a way it’s almost scarier than the high-budget vfx rendition in TZ: the Movie. Well, that’s my opinion anyway. :)

Yeah, the airplane gremlin definitely did resemble Joe Dante’s eventual Mogwais that came one year down the line. (Of course I realize Dante did Good Life and George Miller did Terror.)

Would have been cool if Dante’s gremlins had also flown! :)

Also, ABSOLUTELY HAD TO POST THIS! :D

That was cool.

Although Miller obviously did a great job, I’d have loved it if Donner had been able to come back, as a bona fide big movie director, and had the chance to do his own new take on his segment.
