CN to change name, Less cartoons on network! (update!)

This is not confirmed (rumor) but if true then cartoon network offical will be a nick/ disney rip-off channel.

An update from the creater of flapjack. CN drops plans to change name after cn real bombed! SO we got lucky this time folks.

And to think they used to be so good. I wonder what this means for Clone Wars and Brave and the Bold (the only CN shows I watch anymore)?

Wasn't the whole point that Ted Turner created the channel was to showcase classic and newer cartoons? Yeah, what happened to that mission statement?

Saw a preview at the local theater warmup, and the summer live-action lineup seems to be almost entirely kids-reality exploration and gonzo-science shows...

Yes, L&G, cable has come to the point that Cartoon Network is now showing kids'-survivor shows, and Discovery Kids is now showing cheap cartoons.

I think they started going downhill when they stopped running Toonami weekdays. That was about the time when they started showing Camp Lazlo, Foster's and all the other dumb shows they've got now.
