The Scary Door! :P
"It turns out it's Man!" Best line ever! :D
(Okay, Matt, what is it, did Rod Serling run over your freakin' dog??
Or does Futurama just personally consider itself superior to all other inferior sci-fi lifeforms?)

Wow, and we thought Mr. Bemis had it rough before! That's really not fair! Too bad they left out Bender's line "Cursed by his own hubris."

Exactly what I was going to write, Dan! :) That’s actually one of my favorite Futurama lines, no joke.

Yeah, I mean if at least his eyes hadn’t fallen from their sockets, he probably would have been ok. :|

Probably my favorite parody of "Time Enough at Last" from Family Guy:

“It’s a cookbook!” The Naked Gun 2 1/2 reference alongside the original.

It’s not so much the throwaway scene that I like, (even though it is funny) but the fact that they actually used the actor who played Mr. Chambers! Lol. :P

(Also, I know this question is two months late Dan, but what ep of Family Guy was the above parody from? Thanks! :))

"Wasted Talent" an episode from the second season. It's the one where they parody Willy Wonka.

I’ve never actually seen Third Rock from the Sun before, but this particular ep had a hilarious Zone reference! :)

NEVER SEEN Third Rock From the Sun?? :o
French Stewart's silliness, Kristen Johnson's over-the-top franticness, and John Lithgow in full "Santa Claus: the Movie" cutesy scenery-chewing?
Well, that's the good thing about checking up on past TV series that have fallen into PD and saturated every streaming service known to man.

(Check out the episode where the characters catch a sudden mania for home-theater: It's a hilarious late-90's time-capsule for when nobody could understand the point of DVD or HDTV...)

I've only ever seen one episode of "3rd Rock from the Sun", it was the one about beanie babies. I could relate so much.

I’m still not really seeing it. Sure, Patch is the nice cute one, and BZ is chewing the scenery, but he sure isn’t being cute!

Season 2 of the reboot dropped this week and CBS uploaded the first episode for free: (mild language)

Actually not half bad! I liked it. Held my interest throughout. Reminded me of an episode from the 80s series "A Message From Charity". Same concept but different story. This was more dark. I kinda loved the sinister twist. Half way I had suspicions. Probably could've been a little shorter, but it had heart and suspense. Dare I say, it had a certain charm to it that reminded me of the original. In a way, it was like commentary on social media.

There's also a scene that totally brings to mind "Time Enough at Last". I liked that.
