Not sure I buy this explanation....

https://nypost.com/2021/03/18/the-simps ... -timeline/

Of course the aging/timeline issue has been talked about for years, but I think Selman’s answer is kinda disingenuous.

(It is kinda funny to think of Grampa now being young enough to have served in Vietnam—maybe he and Skinner were fellow officers! :))

Yes, because they do not age, all the characters are the age they are for that season in that broadcast year. Events would then correspond to that time point.

Or you could just, you know, run all the episodes back to back. Problem solved, since everything would then happen in two weeks' amount of time, including the movie.

Or do two days' worth a month and make it last a year. They still wouldn’t age... D'oh!

What a treat. It was worth reading just for his views on Frank Grimes alone. Gives that episode a new perspective.

Marvel-themed short coming to Disney+ and it's not Maggie centric!

MoeVision looks promising. Can't wait for the Spider-Pig cameo! ;)

Why does that still feel like more of a Star Wars poster though? Oh, because everything is Star Wars in the Simpsons universe… ;)

No, but it's still Matt & Co. thinking that if they make fun of "We're working for the Mouse now!", it's somehow forbidden, scandalous, and Biting the Big Corporate Hand That Feeds Them.
And Disney letting them, because it gives them a free plug, and it doesn't tackle any controversial topics, like the Maggie shorts don't.

And, someone else besides Homer is playing Hulk, so they can do an Ant-Homer joke...Ooo-kay? :?

There’s no way the guys at Disney aren’t the ones who are ordering these shorts.

Ned Flanders is Ant-Man. (Flant-Man!) Homer's not even on the poster.
