Nice, the two initial Eggheads accounted for anyway.
It’s always a surprise to see the titles and realise just how many still never made it to Blu-ray or even DVD. A good bunch of good ones here!

Yay, "Cinderella Meets Fella"! Love the selection of shorts.

Great selection, I think!
Still a few nice ones out there, yet, and they haven't even scratched the surface yet of the older, musical non-regular character Merrie Melodies. Not to mention the Bosko and Foxy Looney Tunes.

McKimson, who remains one of the, if not *the*, most underrated Warners directors.

Re: Looney Tunes Golden/Platinum Collections
If I made a list of favorite Bugs and favorite Daffy toons, I can guarantee more McKimson titles on each than Jones.
And with A Feud There Was, we're working our way through the early Egghead, but there's still Believe It or Else and Count Me Out to be archived.

Exactly. Nice to see the McKimson appreciation. I donut think there’s actually a *terrible* McKimson cartoon, but plenty of Friz and Chuck so-sos. They were just smart enough to stick around long enough to fight over who was going to take "ownership" of the franchise.

And just tangentially on the Looney subject:
Would it be violating any political rules on the board to point out that in this week's court case, the jury found Yosemite Sam liable for an additional punitive fine of 8300 pounds, after posting a series of comments about, quote, "that rackin'-frackin' varmint" on social media in response to an earlier fine for displays of temper?

Thad reviews Volume 3:

I've been watching Volume 1, and am very impressed with how great these look. Just ordered Volume 2 yesterday, but think I'm even more looking forward to the odd mix of Volume 3.

Re: Looney Tunes Golden/Platinum Collections
Mine is on the way! I know some of these across all three volumes have their kinks and occasional issues, but these are the best versions of these cartoons we're likely to see on any disc format in this day and age, and the wild and pretty fast way they’re managing to get them out is more appreciated than by some others online that find too much to gripe about. For those people, I’d say be thankful we have grade-one digital prints of these films, warts and all, as opposed to actual 35, 16 or even 8mm prints, which would be totally screwed by now after repeated showings!

Even Thad, often a grump, mostly praises the discs, and accepts them for what they are - which is mostly pretty great.

Happy about the restored title for "Hobo Bobo"!
