Re: NYC/animation article on front page:

Very interesting with some gorgeous shots of animated NYC (particularly Simpsons, Futurama and Oliver and Company) My fave pics were the Fantasia 2000 ones.

Fantasia did an amazing job with Rhapsody in Blues, can't go wrong with a Gershwin/Hirschfield combo.

Yes! I always liked Futurama better than the Simpsons. I loved all those crazy missions they went on :P

Not much to comment on, but I really liked it. :)

Nobody mentioned the Futurama DVD article at Newsarama?

Man oh man....

I can't believe nobody else mentioned this!

Yeah, it premiered in the last week.

Sounds like it'll be okay.

Too bad about the reality of the "new season" of episodes premiering on Comedy Central in the near future...

Well, its no wonder why, since the article is dated 'today'. It was just a matter of time before somebody posted it.

To steal from one of the posters, "best news I've heard all day"! :)

And here's our original Futurama thread: Futurama returns in 08!!!

FYI, Bender's Big Score comes out this Tuesday. (11/27) And here's another early review -- which wow, gives a lot of hope!

I don't know if I want to buy it, though. For one thing, there gonna air on TV soon, plus, after all four are released they might repackage them into a box set. Decisions, decisions.

For those who are going to buy it, 'Best Buy' seems to have the best deal. Its $17.99, and as a 'Best Buy' exclusive: "comes with bonus footage of upcoming feature & more" which is probably a bonus disc and you can get the seasons your missing for $19.99; which would be great, if I didn't already own them! :)

The first Futurama Movie, "Bender's Big Score," is being shown this Sunday, March 23rd, starting at 8 PM EST on Comedy Central.

All you cheapskates that DIDN'T buy the DVD have no excuse not to watch or record it now!

Whoops, I had meant to post a reminder a few days ago! ;)

I got Bender's Big Score a few weeks ago... was not dissapointed. In fact, dare I say, it was better The Simpsons Movie. Yup, it was that good!
