Their banter is really funny, especially since they were friends in real life. :P

but I loved the Troughton re-runs that always seemed to be on.
I've been going through the complete (that can be located) series on Britbox US, and there's just not enough Patrick Troughton out there.
I've even gotten hooked on the new animated Second Doc restorations, but apart from VOD'ing the "Macra Terror" restoration, and finding the "Faceless Ones" DVD at the library, they're still coming out too slow for my taste. :P

Most of you around here know I’m no great fan of these, but I do like this new Dr Tennant Pop… ;)

If only he really looked like that in the film, rather than a greasy goth....

I actually meant to mention that when I posted the reply to Vi's link above! This has been an inside rumor for a while now. Davies produced Grant in his "comeback" role in the excellent Jeremy Thorpe drama, and been a frontrunner since Davies agreed to come back to the show. The BBC also want to extend it out: it was already bigger and better when Davies rebooted it, and then he tried before with Torchwood and Sarah Jane, but was somewhat hampered by TV budgets: now with streaming (I believe Sony co-own his production company) and a big star in Doctor Hugh, I’m sure they’ll be eyeing some serious expansion.
