Oh no…

At the end "What is Scoobi??" is written on the mailbox. Not a fan of Velma's voice.

Aside from the shirt, no real Shaggy vibes from Norville...

When spin-offs veer so far from their source that they basically become their own thing with no resemblance to what "inspired" them…

New trailer:

Heh, the sheriff looks like Don Knotts. I appreciate that detail. Feels too radically different...

Not sure why it feels so mean spirited when Scooby Doo was all about friendship and teamwork. Why can't anything be sincere these days anymore?

Between Warner, who's still caught in their OWN 00s CN campaign to heap Boomer shame and abuse on Scooby tropes, and the new, ahem, fanscape of streaming-network cartoon watchers, for whom Velma still represents a waving rainbow flag of Cartoon Representation (for absolutely no reason except hiply self-mocking stereotypes), there are a lot of people involved on this project with....ISSUES.

Adulthood means being able to forgive your childhood cartoons, and watch them on disc.
