One Man Band Pixar Minisite

Post by piotr » December 1st, 2005, 2:15 pm

Pixar has released a little behind the scenes info for it's newest short "One Man Band."

It looks like they'll continue to add more information about the short later. I can't wait to see how the film directed by Mark Andrews and Andrew Jimenez turns out.

If Pixar keep up their traditions, it should be nominated for an Oscar and end up attached to Cars both theatrically and on DVD.

There's something about the way Pixar does the eyes on its chacters that I really like. I can't pinpoint any specific reason at all buy yeah. (Even though cars doesn't do the eyes the normal way, they still look cool) That looks neat. Can't wait to see it.

Same here. Well, I think the eyes are the most important part of a character, but maybe that's just me.

Pixar's 'One Man Band' Clip online

Post by JustinWilliams » February 22nd, 2006, 7:38 am

Hope this hasn't already been posted - but there's a gorgeous clip from the short online. Additionally, in the 100 Postcards which make up 'The Art of Pixar', there is a wonderful pair of concept designs - one by Jason Deamer (c) Pixar Animation Studios and another by Ronnie del Carmen (c) Pixar Animation Studios. The former is beautiful:

Think we've mentioned the clip before. Looking forward to seeing the whole thing.
