Thanks Meg - You can read and reread a story to proof read it but seldom can you find your own typos LOL.

I could have sworn that Lasseter article on the front page has been posted there before.

Apologies! The forum was down today between 10:20 and 10:50 AM while I was updating some code to keep out spambots!

I've also changed the registration form to require new members to activate their account first before updating their profile with personal information. Sorry for any inconvenience.

Ah ha! So that's what was up. ;) Brandon and I were like, What the heckies?

I was kind of joking when I said this to him. I said, "That'd be something. We get to the Cars WP and say, Yeah, we're from Animated-News.com, a website that isn't running anymore." ><

The Little Mermaid DVD giveaway

Post by Wonderlicious » September 30th, 2006, 7:32 am

I've noticed that the Animated News sweepstakes are normally just open to US citizens/residents, but this one doesn't seem to note that, so I've entered. Call me neurotic, though, but due to the nature of past competitions, I can't help but think that my entry won't go anywhere, so I have to ask; will the entry of this UK dweller be considered good or a dud?

If it doesn't say, then international entries are fine! Unless we just forgot to add the warning so good on ya for asking! In this case int'l entries are OK!

I thought about looking it up on IMDB but didn't. I took some wild guesses and I'm pretty sure I got it wrong. Oh well. (I didn't in the last contest either, I think that kinda defeats the purpose of it, but that's just me.

(I'm definetely buying this one no matter what, however.)

And you call yourself fans... ;)

At least we didn't make it too easy, Mac. You still had to look it up! :)

Front page and Firefox

Post by Wonderlicious » October 15th, 2006, 12:05 pm

Is anybody using Firefox finding it impossible to get to the front page (forum works fine, though). Despite typing in the address, nothing pops up. And the front page worked in Internet Explorer...

Can people help me? :(

Just tested with Firefox and it comes up fine (and quick)! Try clearing your cache then reload the page.

I just tried it now and it worked. Must have been a little problem worth forgetting.
