Well, that was a shocker...
"Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, but today is a gift--that is why it's called the present."

Beyond shocking. I got woken up by a text and just couldn’t get my head around it before looking it up online. And then it still doesn’t make sense. 43 is too young for anyone. RIP.

I had thought that Boseman was looking thin, and really had worried that he was sick. But it's still a shock that he has passed. He had such a bright future as an actor, and had hoped to direct as well. He was very talented, and brought so much dignity to his roles. I absolutely loved him in 42. I figured he would easily reach the standing of a Denzel Washington or a Sidney Poitier. There are still films of his that I haven't seen, though, so I will look forward to seeing him in those ones in the future. Wow. It's so sad that we will no longer be able to appreciate in his talent in future projects.

He died on the day that Major League Baseball celebrated Jackie Robinson Day. How fitting is that?

In his family's statement today, they say that it was his role in Black Panther that made him the most honoured. That film alone is a nice legacy. Too bad that he will not be able to appear in the sequel.

Which would make it $1-1.5M if they all were, which says a lot about our current moviegoing mood till the coast is clear.

Of course, it didn't help that the majority of the audience WANTED to see it on streaming to put it out of its release misery, and reviews like one that called it "the worst X-Men movie of all time".
Which, even if you liked X2, is completely unfair to Dark Phoenix. :(

"The Jean Grey School for Gifted Students"...ohh, lord. So much hurt.

(Fox, you gave Disney one last final warning of what would happen if they continued down the Captain Marvel/Brie Larson road. Let us hope Kevin heeded it.)

RT score is--

c score 23! Audience score is 52.

So audience liked it more then the critics did. From what i heard it's "ok".

How about that. She-Hulk is from Saskatchewan. We were born just a few miles away from each other (and 15 years apart).

I'm actually quite excited they cast Maslany. Seen enough of Orphan Black to know she's a helluva actress. This will be fun!
