I remember the last time I rode Jungle Cruise it stopped right before the end. It was funny because the guide was just wrapping up so he got to go off script for a little while. It was fun!

One Disney podcast/blog used to have a regular contributor who used to work his dream job as a Disneyland Skipper--
He said the guys often like to haze the new guys on the last run of the day with having the other employees create a "shipwreck" at the end of the cruise, with bodies lying about, and see what the current skipper ad-libs.

"And here we see what happened to the last cruise--Don't worry, folks, this boat is completely insured."

Still looks fun and a nice addition to The Rock in the Jungle Universe. ;)

Loving the return to Drew Struzan-style painted art reminiscent of the early 80s Indy Jones posters (themselves revivals of 60s and 70s "collage" onesheets). It’s a little "cleaner" than Struzan's slightly rougher, truly hand-crafted work, but it’s clearly the intention to evoke that style, and it’s really nice to see that fun adventure movie style back again!

I get very strong The Mummy (Fraser version) vibes with Jungle Cruise. And I am loving it. Loving the humour not only in the movie but also with the promotion. I'm definitely heading out to the cinema to see this (assuming Australia isn't in total lockdown by the end of the month)

The Scorpion King is redeemed!

Looks like big fun, and a new score from James Newton Howard to look forward to too! Pirates and Mummy — which, let’s face it, we’re already in the realms of Indy — all rolled into one. While I’m not always a fan of franchise films, here’s hoping this does kickstart a new one for Disney, which seems in need of something fresher and lighter again. This looks to fit the bill, and hopefully it will deliver.

I see this as a one-off, but it does look like good fun. I also thought it was quite Mummy-ish from the first footage I saw of it.
