At least the preview had a "Harry Potter" joke.

Well weve seen it b4 (the antz/bugs life era), and, im just quessing here, but DNA barely delivers, there finest contribution would have to be " Hi I'm Paul!" Its just a ball park but hey that what it looks like. :)

although its good to teach kids not to bother ant hills, most learn that the hard way.

Bah, I have yet to get excited about this movie. Haven’t we seen enough CGI ants?

Hahaha. Yes, there have most certainly been a lot of CGI ants. These ants seem cool though.

The ants in A Bug's Life were very simple and cute in appearance while the ones in Antz were more detailed and had more human characteristics. The ants in The Ant Bully seem like a cross between the two kinds IMO.

Nicolas Cage?

Really? I mean... REALLY? They couldn't find someone... ya know... talented?

But finding someone more talented would mean they couldn't scream his name at us.

Nicolas Cage has a good voice. So long as he works for the character, I'm fine.

Let's keep discussion about this film (which opens this week) in this merged thread instead of starting any new ones.

I'm not sure if I'll see this movie or not. For some reason I'm not hyped about it. I would also like to see "Dead Man's Chest" a second time. But if the reviews for "Ant Bully" are good, I may end up seeing it.

Its getting mixed reviews, 43% currently at Rotten Tomatoes.

I was surprised that they're going with another CGI film based on ants, too. But I liked the trailer and I LOVE Jimmy Neutron, so I will probably see this.
