Hopefully, it'll spin off more of the adventure half, rather than the Brady Bunch Movie-esque fish-out-of-water high school Mean-Girls half.

Like James said, the actress putting some sincerity into the character still made the first half sort of work.

I did watch the film with my family, since my kids had watched Dora and Diego when they were young. We thought it was actually okay - other than some silly, unwelcome potty humour.
