I bet it's on google play also. Only one that does not have it--is disney plus!

Condorman, one of our dinos is missing and other classic disney films are for sale on these sites but not on disney plus also!

They have episodes of disneyland not on disney plus also! Many remastered!

D+ Canada just announced that it'll be carrying new Doctor Who next year!

This will be the case in all territories, actually, except the UK and Ireland, where of course Doctor Who will continue to be seen on the BBC.

Thanks! :). I actually just read that DT being left off D+ has to do with who actually owns the rights to it or something. (Chester Gould’s estate I’m guessing owns some of them?). So hopefully someday we’ll see it on D+.

Being a Touchstone title in some territories also plays into things. I know HBO had rights to a bunch of those films, though Disney does own DT outright. Just a matter of time before it eventually turns up on D+!

The entire 90's Touchstone/Hollywood Silver Screen Partners I-IV years seems to be so screwed up as to release (with some going to Mill Creek, which is one step away from being public domain), I'm wondering whether many of the titles are simply in ownership-hell limbo over four distinct incarnations of the company.

We know a few survived to be adopted back into the family, like Hocus Pocus, Arachnophobia and The Rocketeer, and Roger Rabbit was always the favorite son, but it's harder to explain Disney burying DT out of historical box-office "shame" than burying all those Bette Midler and Martin Short comedies...

No, Disney owns them all. Some of them are just licensed out to various disc distributors and other television syndication deals and streamers. As those deals run their course, all these films will turn up back on Disney owned formats, be they discs or streaming.

The *only* Disney funded titles that Iger short-sightedly let go was the Miramax library, which he sold off for $650m just before he realised the future was D+…

FTR, the character is owned by the newspaper distributor (Tribune Media). Gould's family does not hold any rights.

Beatty bought the rights to do the film, then eventually teamed with Disney. I think that Beatty may still hold the rights to do a sequel (with some legal squabbling along the way), and he's made a little noise about it occasionally, but we shouldn't hold our breath at this point.

No, we're pretty much USED by this point to the stash being all original-series and corporate navel-gazing, with a Fox Alvin movie being the closest thing to "studio catalogue"...

Trend-news is already making a big thing out of viewers dropping Netflix for that, but as long as they can wring blood out of SW and Marvel series, it'll be a year or two before the effects ripple to D+.
