United 93

Post by Dacey » April 7th, 2006, 7:08 pm

Universal will not pull "United 93" trailer, despite complaints

As one would expect, a lot of hype is bound to surround this movie. If the trailer gets this kind of press, think of what will happen when the actual film comes out.

So, is it too soon or not?

(And please, let's all be good and not turn this into a fight about the Iraq war, alright? :) )

Err... well, for starters, you may want to edit the URL in your post into something shorter so it doesn't warp the page... like this. ;-)

But anyhoo, I selected that I have no interest in it. Because I don't. All this over-sensitivity is a load of hooey though, in my humble opinion. :?

Say, how do you do that anyway (editing an URL I mean)?

I've wondered that too. I'm not very computer-savy...

Just like this...

Code: Select all

YOUR TEXT HERE
...all you have to do is replace the link.com address with the AOL story link, and then change YOUR TEXT HERE to put whatever text you want the link to say. :)

To me it's definetely too soon. Are they nuts or something? I still remember 9/11 very well, I have no urge to re-live it. To me this is just cashing in on a tradgedy.

Also, it's kind of disconcerting because what if it inspires even more terrorist attacks? :(
You can’t just have your characters announce how they feel! That makes me feel angry!

It's too soon. I think they're releasing it this early because they want to make a lot of money, which just makes me sick to the stomach.
