Now that there's been a preview of it, what did everyone think?
(I haven't seen it yet.)
I thought it would be OK to start a thread since there has been an early glilmpse of it.
EDIT:
(*Expletive!* I mean to put this in Theatrical! Whoops!
)

I was actually going to post some screen shots from the preview this weekend! I'll probably do it as a story so watch the front page!

Moved to theatrical, Vi!
BTW, I've had the OTH DVD for a couple of weeks now and didn't even THINK to post some images from the Bee Movie preview!
Doh! I guess I'm either losing my grip or concentrating on other things...

I have the DVD, but I haven't watched the sneak peek yet.
Dang! I'm getting lazy about these things.

Jim Hill posted this image a short while ago...
Lookin' nice! I really like the design of the girl, looks like DW finally has the hang of CG people!
And the colors are pretty.
There's more stuff in the article -

Bee warned, the video preview doesn't look quite as good. Thankfully it is labeled "Work in Progress" so hopefully the buzz created by the picture will be warranted.

That music in the preview trailer as well as the look of it reminded me so much of that Flight of the Bumblebee cartoon Walt made back in the day.

I'm really likin' the visuals so far...I have to hand it to DW, they really know how to push their style, something I wish Pixar would do more.

Is that girl Renne's character? She's very pretty.
Anyhoo, I finally watched the sneak peek. Awfully short, but better than the "Shrek 3" one to say the least.

I think the graphics are beautiful, very bright and vivid but not blindingly so. Plus I think putting Seinfeld in a cartoon is a very cool idea.

I think the WIP label is just a protector for them. The final result won't be too different, but it's there in case they radically change the scene or delete it and some schmuck tries to sue them because they went to the theater JUST to see that shot on the big screen or something.
Obviously, some of those shots were unfinished, so I guess there could still be work being finished on them. But by this point, completed shots will start buzzing down the pipeline to bee cut into the final print.
