Love that sweater, though Letterman doesn't seem that interested, as is either his "style" or his personality. Since he often seems distracted even now then I'm guessing he was more concerned about hitting the commercial timing than concentrating on the interview.
Mel was a genius though, and that interview is gold. I really hope WB might be able to license that from Universal for a future LTGC DVD set.

Yeah...although I think Letterman is a better host than Jay Leno, I think if it had been Jay he would have at least mustered up some more enthusiasm!
Wish Mel was still around.....
