I've been meaning to get that Mario show for the longest time! :)

I remember loving the cartoon portions of it, but not so much the live action stuff. Though, that was a long time ago, and I hear that they were actually funny, so who knows.

It was "cute." :P Something to watch after school, anyway.

Also, for some reason I always really enjoy seeing bits of the 1993 Bob Hopkins/John Leguizamo film. Still can't believe it came from Disney....:P
Anyway, it's a fun film. :)

I can't remember too well either, but I think the Mario guy was actually a former wrestler at the time who decided to act as well. They had cute little skits for about 7 minutes that were fun to watch. :)

Also, speaking of 80's stuff, not exactly a cartoon but wonderful anyway:

That's the way I remember it being, too.

With the way he looked, I believe it. Was it only 7 minutes? I could've sworn it was longer. :?

Wasn't sure where to put this but apparently this was a "tatoo" (I guess temporary) seen at the Comic-Con: (thanks to Cartoon Brew)

I'm trying to find the name of an old Nickelodeon cartoon...

Post by johnbegayjr » November 14th, 2007, 6:37 am

To all,

I'm trying to find the name of an old Nickelodeon cartoon that ran in the 1980s. What I remember most about it was that the cartoon was based in London, England and featured a detective or some crime-fighting duo or team. I know that there was a rather big character in there but I don't remember the names of any of the characters or of course, the title of the show itself. If this show is familiar or sounds familiar, please post a reply and would like to be able to find out the name to this show. Thanks.

Very rare "Making of The Real Ghostbusters" British documentary from 1989!! :)

(I posted part 2 since it has more about the cartoon--part 1 focuses a lot on the films.)

cute film on real ghostbusters, i watched that a lot.

My favorite was Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles though, and I love Jem and the Holograms. That is my favorite 80s cartoon even though I didn't watch it when I was little I can't get enough of it now. I really wish they would release the last season/bunch of episodes.

Oh, he's called "Stiffanbond" now, so he can necro-resurrect more generically titled threads to post sales-spam signatures onto. Just to keep thread-locks updated. :P
(At least when he isn't "Tish Peli", or whatever new post-bump account he'll be next week.)

Is that spam or not? Comments, please.

Whatever it is, I've removed the file recovery software links, which we do not allow here from first time posters.
