Which movies will you see this year? :)

Also, wasn't sure where to put this (couldn't use 2007 thread ) so I started this new one.

INDIANA JONES AND THE KINGDOM OF THE CRYSTAL SKULL

No way would I miss what looks like the only chance I'll ever have to see an Indy film in theaters. I've always been a fan of Spielberg, and Raiders was what hooked me on action movies.

As mentioned, Wall-E, Dark Knight, and....

"I am Prince Gaspian."

Vi, I trimmed the title of your thread to omit the question mark.

As James has pushed us in the right direction, let's use this thread as a discussion point for the majority of LIVE-ACTION movie discussion.

Naturally, there are some big films that warrant (and already have) their own threads, but there's no need for every film to open an ultimately redundant thread, so this can be a "catch all" for those.

:)

===============================

Apart from the animated ones (of course!) and the double whammies of new Indy and Bats, I've got my eye out for:

Sweeney Todd (just out in the UK yesterday)
Cloverfield (out next week)
Be Kind Rewind
You Don't Mess With the Zohan
Hancock
Narnia: Prince Caspian

...but perhaps more interested in what they do with Get Smart and Star Trek. :)

Non-animated titles I'm interested in...

Cloverfield (seen it)
National Treasure 2 (also have seen it)
The Dark Knight
Harry Potter 6
Indiana Jones 4
Be Kind Rewind
Prince Caspian
Star Trek
Iron Man
The Incredible Hulk
Speed Racer (while sugar-high, of course)
Sweeney Todd
21
Jumper
The Mummy 3
Hancock

Josh - I didn't know they were remaking The Day The Earth Stood Still! I'll keep an eye out for that one as well. :)

I almost forgot about that remake! It was confirmed early last year, I think. I too am looking forward to it, since I like the original.

Why do you want to be sugar-high for Speed Racer though, Meg? ;)

Okay, that's what I was thinking, but thought there might have been another reason. Silly! ;)

'Kay, no problem!

About movies, I'm still very much looking forward to Adam Resurrected. (The Jeff Goldblum holocaust film) There hasn't been all that much news on it lately, but I'm still hoping for the best! :) At the very least it should get Goldblum some attention.

I can't believe I forgot to include Hellboy II: The Golden Army in my list. I'm definitely interested in see that.

Also, if Superhero! is as good as this review suggests, then I'm eager to see it too. I was afraid the movie would be another Meet the Spartans.

"Superhero!" is this year?!?! I thought they had pushed it back. I definately want to see it.

And two films that I forgot to add to me list were "Get Smart" and "Leatherheads".
