Very cool method of drawing!

Post by James »

Very cool!

According to Drawn: "Incredible! Watch how Emmanual Guibert created the art for his WWII graphic novel Alan’s War."

In case you can't tell what that is, in the first part of the video the artist is using water.

That is cool! Amazing how the ink modes to it so well. Wow!

That is one of the few very awesome things I've seen in a while. That initial prodding of the ink to the water is like real magic. Very cool.

Bah!

Pencil and paper is still the best!

Digital drawing can be great, but nothing feels as natural as pencil and paper.

I've owned two Wacom tablets and as nice as they get to be after a month or so, digital drawing still doesn't feel as natural as good old pencil and paper.

Granted, I didn't like using Conte crayon OR charcoal sticks in figure drawing, either. Everybody's got their own personal preference.
