Does anybody remember Don Bluth's Rock-A-Doodle from 1992?

Yep, and I'm sure we have a thread around here somewhere.

I actually really enjoy this movie. Disney had wanted to make the tale of Chanticleer in the 1960s but it never got the go ahead for being too expensive. It's an interesting subject for Bluth to have produced: doubtless his version is nothing like what would have come out of Disney's, but it's a good stab that often gets overlooked.

The only things to drag it down are the very obvious matting in the live-action/animation scenes, almost painful after Roger Rabbit's seamless effects, and the end credit scroll which almost makes up a quarter of the running time!

I hadn't seen it. Don Bluth is one of my favorite animators for sure. I'm gonna check it out.

OF COURSE I DO! =DDDDD

Sorry. ^^;

Love that movie... I mean, when I was just a small fry I watched it almost every day, much to my parent's chagrin. Recently found it again. Yay!

Nostalgia but not quite. Since I'm just thirteen and was around 6 when I first saw it. Hah.
