Both TaleSpin and Tiny Toons has 20 years anniversary this year!

Well, if WB wants to take advantage of that, they might actually finish releasing Tiny Toons on dvd but I'm not holding my breath.

I'm still waiting for them to release the final volume of Animaniacs, but who knows when they will get around to that.

And Pinocchio is 70, though it had its anniversary DVD last year! :p And of course, Alice in Wonderland is having an un-anniversary this year, whatever one of them is.

Disney's Alice in Wonderland was originally released in 1951.

please tell me the 'un-anniversary' isn't some lame Disney stunt to tie-in its animated feature with Tim Burton's adaptation ..

OTOH, Disney's Cinderella will celebrate its 60th anniversary this March.

Its crazy thinking about how old some of these films and cartoons we watch all the time.

On a random note, kids today wouldn't know what Tiny Toons is...

If it helps you to feel less 'old' .. I watched (and enjoyed!) first-run Tiny Toon Adventures while I was in college. And I don't feel 'old'.

^ You know, I guess I don't feel so old actually. It's more that it's just strange thinking that its been so long since those shows came out.

I was watching the original Mighty Morphing Power Rangers on TV (ABC Kids) today and they were touting the original American release Saban episodes as NEW. Goes to show that kids now have no idea about some of the shows I grew up on.

It's surprising what time will do. Tiny Toons still holds up as being just as good as when I first saw it, but the last time I watched an old-school Power Rangers episode, I was like "Did I really used to watch this? What was wrong with me?"

Lolz, yeah, power rangers is that terrible. When I was little I actually didn't like the show at all. I thought it was silly, that and I didn't like anything that wasn't animated. ;P I just watched it for the novelty and I love seeing the old fashions.

Tiny toons is still such a fun show to watch. Actually I think I like it better now than I did when I was younger because I understand the references and some of the humor more.
