There was a great "No talking/turn off your cellphone" skit with the Muppets that played with my showing of Tintin. Pepe has two cellphones LOL! Really funny!

Well, darn. Thanks for checking though. This means I'll have to see Tintin now!

Thank you! I assume this only plays in AMC theatres, which I don't have anywhere in an 150 mile radius, so thanks for finding it on YouTube.

This metal case will be available for the Muppets Blu-ray at Future shop stores in Canada. Not sure if there's a US store handling it.

It's not specific to the film, but I kinda like it.

Also, if you buy Lady and the Tramp at FS this week, FS is tossing in a L&TT poster, plus a $10 gift certificate good towards a Muppets purchase.

Lucky so and so's...YOU get the Disney-apologia one with just the Muppets on the cover! We're still stuck with Jason & Amy on the cover!
(Harder to see this time, of course, but still there if you look closely.)

And guess we can now discard that "They're probably saving the original Muppet Movie till the new one comes out on disk" theory. :(

Well, Jason and Amy were main characters in the film, Eric.

And aren't all of the Disney Muppet movies coming to Blu-Ray this spring?

Looks like there's a DVD version with the same cover, and the German BD also has that cover.

The new US BD cover (with Jason and Amy mixing in better) looks better to me now, as well.

More Muppet BDs from Disney have not been announced yet, though blu-ray.com does have the first one and Christmas Carol listed as coming soon (they even have a cover for Carol). The bigger box set that blu-ray.com once had posted is no longer apparent. I'm guessing Dis just decided to do single releases now, as the new movie is coming out all by itself.

Glad to know Ben liked it! But really, was there ever any doubt? ;)

I'm pretty disappointed that Man or Muppet is the song that's up for best song, instead of Life's a Happy Song. No doubt Man or Muppet and Pictures in my Head are both great songs, but Life's a Happy Song is just so good. In fact I think it's a big missed opportunity to perform Life's a Happy Song at the oscars.

FWIW, "Life's a Happy Song" was my favorite from the film, as well. It just sounds very .. 'Henson-y'. :)
