I don't know about anybody else, but I never thought Lillard needed redeeming...

He's a darn good actor. Sure, his projects aren't always great, but the guy's been good in everything I've ever seen him in.

I don't consider this stuntcasting any more than "borrowing" Bruce Greenwood from Star Trek to voice Batman.

It's just a case of some darn good actors being available at the right moments for some jobs.

The fact that they're voicing iconic characters is icing on the cake for fans.

It's win-win...

Like golly, they love me!

Lillard makes a good Shaggy. Oh sure, he can't be Casey Kasem, but then no one could. Lillard does good, and is obviously enjoying himself.

As for the romantic apsects on the new show, it really caught me by surprise when I saw the trailer (Shaggy and Velma!?!), but... I like it! With 40 years of history to these largely one-dimensional characters, it's a bold choice to actually let them live and breathe a little, so I give a big thumbs up.

I stopped watching the Scooby movies years ago (although I still love Zombie Island). I'm more interested to see Tom and Jerry meet Sherlock Holmes. :)

On this week's episode of Scooby Doo: Mystery Incorporated ("Shrieking Madness"), Scooby and the gang take on Cthulu** -- along with special guest-star, Harlan Ellison!

Now, there's a sentence I never thought I'd write ..

** well, okay; it's just a Cthulu-like 'monster' (created by an author named Hatecraft)

Does Harlan actually voice the character? Too cool!

I've heard Harlan's in weak health. Hopefully he's improving.

I'm pretty sure he was voicing himself; at least, it sounded like him.

I actually got to meet Mr. Ellison once, waaaaaaaay back when I was working on Babylon 5: Crusade. 8)

In case you guys haven't seen, Mystery Inc. is FINALLY airing the second half of the season on Cartoon Network. It's on Tuesdays at 7:30, right before The Looney Tunes Show. Teletoon in Canada has been airing the second half of the season since March.

This is the first time that I have heard some got bore to watch Scooby doo. I don’t think Scooby doo will get bore for any of one. I like this cartoon a lot and also the way shaggy speaks in this cartoon makes me to laugh a lot.
