I noticed the lack of a visible radar dish on the Millennium Falcon itself.
It was on there, just not the same shape. It is now rectangular with a lower profile. Seems to make more sense. The last one got torn off during Return of the Jedi.

I'm actually NOT a George Lucas basher, but this is pretty funny...

Yes, very funny! :)
You can’t just have your characters announce how they feel! That makes me feel angry!

A quick analysis of the trailer, for those not up on their Expanded Universe lore:

Well, maybe "have" is too strong. A quick listen'll do me fine, methinks.

I need to have this!

I've saw this album reissued years ago... It was done by Meco, the guy who made disco versions of the Star Wars theme music and a few other sci-fi themes in the late 1970s.

It's been out on CD two-three times in total but hasn't been available in a new print run for well over 15 years now.

I've listened to at least part of it in mp3 rips.

To say that it's strong with the Dark Side of the Force doesn't do the criticism of this album enough justice! It's not worth what's being charged second-hand.

(The other Meco stuff that I have is decent, though. Not a huge disco/muzak fan myself.)

So, yeah, while it's been easy to miss given Disney's other announcement today, Star Wars: Episode VIII is set for release on May 26th, 2017 (The Lego Movie Sequel is so going to move now).

Also, the first standalone film is officially called Rouge One (which I'm guessing must mean something to someone somewhere out there who knows more about this stuff than I do?).

Could be anything...could be a production title...could be a pointer for a Boba Fett movie...

Man, my brain must not be working tonight. It's almost certainly a Boba Fett movie when I think about it in that sense.

Also, I just realized that Disney had their own Guardians of the Galaxy 2 set for the 2017 date. I'm guessing they'll be doing some switching around now. ;)
