The BFI is hosting a Disney Christmas cartoon screening. I'll look into going but it's likely going to be sold out or too expensive for now (a new pup is going to sap our entertainment budget over the next few weeks, me thinks!).

What we really need is this plus the two other recently discovered and restored Oswald toons brought together with the existing prints in a nice new Blu, but you know it sadly won't happen... :(

Cool look at the rediscovered and restored film:

I've decided against going to the BFI screening. Oswald aside, the rest of the program is the same old collection of Disney shorts and featurettes as I've watched over and over since I had Mickey's Christmas Carol on VHS in 1984, and I'm really not jazzed at seeing the more recent additions (Prep & Landing: Operation Secret Santa and Frozen Fever) again so soon after the Disney Shorts Collection a few weeks back.
