I suppose I don't mind the rattish rats because my sister owns a mouse. It's cute... and rats are basically huge mice. Wouldn't want one living in my house or anything, but they're fuzzy. And the Pixar rats are cute, at least.

My favorite muppet is Kermit the frog. He just wins at everything.
From Jim Hill:
Pixar, the creators of "Finding Nemo," "The Incredibles" and "Cars" now cook up "Ratatouille," a delicious new animated-adventure centering on an ambitious French Rat named Remy who dreams of becoming a great chef. Because of his passion for cooking, Remy accidentally uproots his family from the French countryside to the sewers of Paris, and finds himself ideally situated beneath a restaurant made famous by his culinary hero, Auguste Gusteau. When Remy helps create a soup that wins rave reviews from the world's most powerful food critic, he sets in motion a hilarious and exciting rat race that wreaks havoc on the entire city, allowing him to achieve the impossible and pursue his true gift. The screenplay, written by Academy Award-winning Brad Bird ("The Incredibles"), is flavored with a colorful cast of characters and exquisite French backdrops making "Rataouille" a tantalizing recipe of imaginative fun and unexpected delight.
So I was thinking. Ratatouille has been heard of for years and years now. But I haven't heard anything about Pixar's next project after Ratatouille. IS there one, or do they not have one in the works for a while?
All I know is that after Ratatouille will be the release of Toy Story 3. After that, I haven't the foggiest idea about what's next.
And from what I've heard, after Ratatouille, Pixar will start producing 2D movies, which would be a dream come true for me.

I think it's not likely that Pixar will (by itself) make 2d animations any time soon - that's what Disney and its legacy/heritage is for only with Pixarians as the heads of animation division. From what I've heard there are at least 2 more CGI projects in the works now (excluding rats movie) premiering 2008, 2009.
