Found this on eBay. The only thing that's new is the slipcover, case and disc are exactly the same as the Signature Collection, only without the "25th" and the Signature Collection logo:

It's a cool alternate cover...but yeah, this feels like a rip-off.

As stated earlier, just a way to use up unsold Signature Collection discs.

I’m kind of surprised they even bothered to print new sleeves without the Sig logo on them though (why not just use the Paige image there too?), but did the original Sig actually have a "25th" on it? A lot of recent Disney titles have just had generic "Anniversary Edition" banners on them so it might just be the Sig logo missing, I’d have to check.

Gosh…looking at my lists, I find I have no less than *eight* editions of this (plus three soundtracks and the remake!) — definitely no need for another one!

Ah, so you DID get the remake! (Me too. :( ;) )

8, eh? I sold old versions as I upgraded, so I only have the Japanese LD box (with the proper, non-rotted Work in Progress version and Making of), the initial Blu-ray, and Russian 3D disc.

I seem to be the lone remake defender around these parts…

Rand, I think I only have the remake because we got sent it for review. I wanted to load off on it, but doesn’t look like I ever published it…! :)

Oh, but there's so much to say....! :)

Maybe I should do it. ;) Actually, it could be a good point/counterpoint thing with Dacey.... but I'm not sure I have the energy to expend on it.

Apparently Disney Movie Club made a post on Facebook and Instagram advertising Melody Time/Make Mine Music and within a half-hour removed them due to complaints. Still can't believe they pulled this again.

Such a misfire. What fan wants to buy 90% of a movie? Did Diz really expect no blowback?

Hopefully it makes them think and offer a replacement. Hopefully it does not make them think "enough of this" and cancel the release. In a way, it would be cool to have both versions as an uberfan, just for historical sake and to see how well they disguised the changes.
