"Fan" seems to be the keyword--
I'll wait for a consensus of reviews that go into more isolated detail beyond "Oh, it's wonderful to see them again!"
(Something about that just brings up old memories of the Rocky & Bullwinkle movie constantly having its characters say "Oh, I loved your old show!", before kicking in with the snide modern gags...)

No, seriously, did you see the R&B movie (with all its preciously cutesy nudges and strategic but insincere onscreen nostalgia-marketing gushes intact)?
Jason & Amy are one step away from being Piper Perabo.
No, but the disingenuous parading of celebrity cameos to say "Oh, where have you been, living in tragic obscurity all these years?...Wouldn't it be a better world if the show could come back again for our cynical world, and we could all get in touch with our inner children?"...IS. Twelve years since, and I still cringe.
(And it was for pretty much the same reason. Classic Media wanted to sell their T-shirts, and Disney wants desperately to sell theirs. Maybe this one isn't AS MUCH of a non-stop infomercial as CM's was, but the motivations aren't exactly innocent.)
And anyone find the whole "Kermit broke up the group" plot...well, "offensive", yes (imagine a Disney cartoon where Donald and Goofy got into an angry Beatles-breakup with Mickey over royalties), but also ironic, considering what happened to the group in real life?
(In a way, Jim Henson was Kermit, when he tried brushing the Muppets aside to make the Creature Shop the engine of the company...Although seems like kind of a hatchet job on Kermit, seeing as it was HA's own attempt to solo-market Miss Piggy that almost drove the marketing into the ground in the early 80's.)
