Christian Groups in general are crazy, and shouldn't be given any attention.

I think some years ago there was also a mother/crusader who spoke out against kid's movies, including, believe it or not, Toy Story, because she didn't like how the film showed Sid playing with rockets, because kids can get killed or maimed doing that.

I think this is what happens when things are taken out of context. eg. Sid was the baddie and kids and see that. If they dont want to be like the baddie they wont play with rockets because thats what the baddie does. If anything kids can see that rockets can hurt by seeing the army man blow up.

No, they're not. There ARE a handful that are, however, and they're the ones that make news like this.

We've been talking about this A LOT at another forum I go to. I started this topic two years ago, and it's still going!

But don't read through the whole thing. It's VERY long.

Actually, at least to my knowledge, that mom who didn't like Toy Story wasn't part of any "group", religrious or otherwise. She was working independently.

Why not? have you forgot all the scenes where Marlin,Dory and Nemo almost got killed? Marlin was almost eaten a few times.

I can't wait for this release.

My original DVD was a little too pixelated for my liking.

As far as I understand, Andrew Stanton is working on this release. Although it was announced as the original line-up, much of that was simply to do with marketing and putting the big names out there as a teaser.

Obviously he's been tied up with WALL-E, but after a break and while on pre-production on his next film, it seems he also has the time to revisit this and approve the new extras and such.

Nemo on BD should look as good as all the other Pixar releases. I think the goal seems to be to get the older films out there in definitive editions in a somewhat chronological ordering, so that we eventually catch up with what's being released as new.

This naturally means the the Toy Stories have been held back for their new 3D theatrical reissues, but then I'd look for a box set for all three when the time is right, with the original two films benefitting from the remastering that is being done for the reissues.

It does make sense since A Bug's Life and Monsters Inc were released before Finding Nemo so they got released first and maybe The Incredibles will be released on Blu-Ray after Finding Nemo.
Sorry  okay but I tried 500x100 but it looks too small, which size will be good? :D.
