I would like to see an animated catwoman movie, but I dont think we'd be getting one anytime soon. Also to get back onto the topic, I plan on seeing Winnie the Pooh with my 7 year old niece.

We certainly don't need a Strangers 2! :(

And anyone who "liked" the first (American remake) one should see the French original. Not so much for being scary, but for being deeply unsettling (much more so than the bland frightfest US edition).

Uh-oh:

JOHN CARTER OF MARS brought forward from June to March 2012 (against the non-Alien Alien prequel), while FRANKENWEENIE goes from that March date to October 2012:

Has Disney either gotten cold feet on either of these films, or do they think they're stronger in those date placements?

Considering how much massive business Alice in Wonderland did in March, that's probably joined June and November as one of their favourite release months. So, they're probably very confident about John Carter, I would think.

As for Frankenweenie, maybe they're still filming and Burton needs more time. After all, stop-motion takes a quite a while to make (okay, really, most animated film genuinely do, but there's likely a reason why stop-motion films are typically shorter than their hand-drawn or computer-generated counterparts). Plus, maybe they feel October would be a more appropriate month, considering the subject matter.

Though, that didn't stop Dimension from releasing their Halloween remakes in August.
