I see you already implemented the name switcheroo. Nice! Looks less busy. :)

Hope you're able to figure out the center alignment. If not, I think it's adequate.

Any plans to bring back the "Quick Edit" option? Miss being able to edit a post on the spot.

I believe it disappeared when the forum got that last big update.

Pretty sure that was also when we got the new rank image. (that tube-like thingy) Truth be told, I never really cared for it. Didn't say anything at the time because I thought it would grow on me. It's OK, I can live with it, just feels static and bland. I dearly miss the stars we used to boast. Felt special when we would earn one; much like school! Here's a pic for reference for those who might need a refresher or if you joined after the fact:

You're taking us down memory lane today!

The stars matched our old logo. When we got rid of the star logo, we changed the rank image to match our then new review scores.

OMG I remember your old av Dan! :). Takes me back as well. :)

Anyway, on the forum’s new look:

Clean, simple lines.

Minimalist design.

Soothing, cool background colors (like the front page/Views.)

Not like a blog comments section, but somehow captures the more “cozy” quality of one without sacrificing the pleasing aesthetic of a message board.

My grade: A++++++++++ !!!!!!

:)

Now that it's been a few days, the new look is growing on me. Feels calming. Other places I visit can be so uncomely...

Yes I do!

Yes, “calm” is a good way of putting it, Dan. :)

Did the forum use to have a auto-save feature? Trying to remember if we did, or if I'm thinking of another board. Feels so familiar!

Something else I notice is missing. Whenever we would reply to a comment, there was a subtle hue change to our whole post.

Blurb?? I'm gonna take a stab and guess you mean our AV title? Think I did bring it up once before but got shot down. Would be a fun little addition. Here's an example of how I might go about it if given the chance:
