I've renamed this thread to make it into an overall discussion of the film.

The second trailer for HPGOF is now online! Check it out at Mugglenet. It looks incredible!

This one is BETTER than the international trailer! And we get a glimpse at Voldemort! Definitely wait if you prefer to see it on the big screen because I'm sure it will look and sound great there. Hopefully Apple will get a hi-def version.

I looked at the MovieFone one earlier and it was linking to the Andrew Adamson Narnia spot - is it fixed now?

I saw it earlier this morning (Thank you mugglenet)

It... looks absolutely amazing.

This looks to be the best harry potter yet (With the exception of this Dumbledore not being as cool as the first one).

Either way though, the trailer gave me chills. I'm so excited, and the short glimps of voldemort was awesome.

CAN'T. WAIT.

Harry Potter official movie thread

Post by Ben »

Well, the new one - Goblet Of Fire - is almost amongst us, and I'm off to see this tonight (Thursday) in one of the rare occaisions when we Brits get a film a little earlier than the States (Chicken Little on February 10 - what is THAT all about? Cheap prints, that's what!)...

Anyway, we don't get a TON of Potter traffic through here, but I thought I would start up the inevitable thread. Please post all comments on the latest Potter movie and try to keep any other movie-related Potterisms to this thread.

I haven't been as big a fan of the flicks as I have enjoyed reading the books (apart from the most recent one), but the early buzz on this is good, and the effects - for a change - look more convincing.

Plus Fleur Delacour's in it, so it's not all bad... ;)

(pretending that he hasn't read the book) Oh, why, what happens to Cedric?

Haven't you heard?

At the end he wins the Tri-Wizard cup and is awarded the Order of Merlin. He is then teleported to the middle-ages to serve King Arthur. So he's out of the book series for good.

What? You mean, Cedric's not really Crookshanks?!?!

Fleur is nice, though. Very, very, very nice...

I know what happens to Cedric. :P I never really cared about him in the books, but now he's hot. :(

Life's not fair..

She looks just like I pictured her in the books. Only problem is she looks like a nine-year old. :?

for some reason, don't know why, I recall you didn't like the films, some issue with Warner Bros, or something it was? Don't know why I remembered that. Perhaps it was a slap in the face for me that it was possible for someone not to like Harry Potter flicks :P . Anyway, looking forward to this one. It appears to have the best of of the first three films. Looking forward to seeing it next wednesday.
