Stay-Puft is a brand in the GB universe. It doesn’t need context as it just exists, like M&Ms. And, as much as the review attempts to cover a spoiler, it’s pretty clear from this and other early words that a certain member of the team does also make an appearance alongside some other surprises.

Much more positive:

Very nice, even dazzling in some parts! :). Really good job tying up “past and present.”

My only real complaint: (small spoiler)
That terror dog (or whatever it was) in the end looked so fakey, even cartoon-like! Honestly, the actual stop-motion ones in the ‘84 film were much better! :?

With Ivan's Kid trying to revive every single last beloved marshmallow and Zuul-dog from the first movie as his bit of studio-concocted stuffed taxidermy, I have to ask:
Do we get to see tributes to the Statue of Liberty or purple slime anywhere in the new movie, or has Ghostbusters II gone the way of the '16 movie as far as Sony is concerned?

(Sort of crossing fingers and hoping it has, but, y'know...)

No, it hasn’t. Ray still has his occult bookstore from the second one.

Swag available at Cinemark:

Cute! The popcorn tub has "Quality Marshmallows" embossed on the front. Think the bowl would've worked better in a different color, (and his tongue colored in) but still pretty neat.

"Eventually, Reitman realized he couldn’t keep running away from his [father's] legacy, but rather he must face it head-on with 'Ghostbusters: Afterlife'.”

...Oyyyyyy.

(Hi, my name's Cassandra--If I start spouting off again about how hiring Jason Reitman was a bad idea of galactic proportions, just, y'know...pay no attention. Oo, look, Bill Murray's back. )
