HBO Max Looney tunes and Hanna barbera Shows!

It’s late night here and I was watching this just before hitting the hay, so had the volume on low, and the auto-generated subtitles on that are hysterical. "Wacky Racist"!??

We Baby Bears!? Yeah, that's way too recent. And the Powerpuff reboot? Blah.

The addams scooby crossover rights is clear and is on max!

Also, all those removed looney tunes shorts are back on max.

I guess the perpetual question, Scooby-Doo, where are you, has finally and definitively been answered (to the Max)!

Over half the looney tunes gone with the rest getting removed later. Later all cartoon network classics will be removed, all hanna barbera shows including tom and jerry and the scooby shows they just added and almost all adult swim shows will be removed. Zaslab really hates animation, and it shows.

This is why physical rules. No, not everything is available on discs, but where it is they can’t take them away from us. Maybe the thinking here is that it’s all destined for MeTV, which seems to be the new steaming home for WB's toon offerings…?

Think metv toons count as network tv and not streaming so not same contract. My guess is netflix, tubi and prime license. Ironic looney tunes movie is out next month and they yank the looney tunes before it's out over promoting it.

I do think that having MeTV really takes the heat off HBO Max for hanging onto those shows. MeTV already does it right, so just keep those licensing fees coming in and free up HBO Max space.

Trouble is wb has a huge history of animation and I do know people who got max just to watch the cartoons and they are ranting right now! Plus, most people don't have me tv toons or know what it even is.

Hopefully people can be edumacated to leave Max and find out what MeTV is…!
