Good news for Bolt...

Harry Potter 6 Pushed Back to Summer '09!

Due to Potter's move, Bolt will now be released on November 21.

UPDATE: Looks like Bolt might want to move back to its original release date, as now Twilight will open on November 21.

You know, it's funny... With most pop culture phenomenons, I at least have a clue regarding the property. But with Twilight, I know practically nothing, other than it's supposedly huge.

Sorta.

It's a series that's become quite a huge phenomenon among teenage girls (and quite a large number of adult women). The author, Stephanie Meyer, is actually being touted as the next J.K Rowling.

The books aren't very good at all. While Meyer is a good storyteller, she's a horrible writer, who knows nothing of character development.

That's why I'll write my fiction in screenplay form, because I'm aware that I can't write prose fiction to save my life. It appears that not everyone has that awareness. Pity.

Twilight's fanbase is easily one of the most annoying I've ever encountered. Hence why I refuse to read the series.

Those images are from a deck of playing cards handed out at Siggraph.

Pick it up if you can on ebay. Lots more good images where they came from... or just wait until the "Art of" book.

Love those sweet renders of the characters, especially Penny!
