What about "Leroy and Stitch"?

You can’t just have your characters announce how they feel! That makes me feel angry!

There are still quite a few features in production that will see release, including the third go-arounds for Little Mermaid and Cinderella.

One of the Disney sequel films that did end up getting the axe was "The Aristocats II," which I personally was looking forward to. "How could you ever look forward to a Disney animated sequel?", you ask. Well. I have to admit that I have always had a soft spot for the mother cat character, Duchess. For whatever reason, she has always been my favorite Disney character, and it was the quest to draw fan artwork of her better that eventually lead me down the rabbit hole of learning the art of animation. So even though the Aristocats sequel probably would have been absolutely terrible and nearly all of the work on the film was going to be done overseas by outsorced animators, I still was kind of looking forward to seeing drawings of Duchess come to life and move on the big screen again. To once again become inspired by that so-called "Disney magic" that got me interested in the whole animation process to begin with.

Along those same lines, I voted for "The Fox and the Hound II" in the poll. Vixey is just adorable, and many fan drawings of her have graced my drafting table over the years as well!
There's a 68.71% chance that I'm right.

Sorry, I'm just with the people who are against Disney sequels like myself.

To be fair, there have been some decent Disney sequels like "Lion King 1 1/2" or "Aladdin and the King of Thieves". Does "Buzz Lightyear of Star Command" count as a sequel? It was pretty good too.

Welcome to the forums 'Man! Please keep in mind that since this is a forum about animation, there are probably children present. We're not trying to censor language here just to be prudish, but so that if some kid's parents checked to see what webpages they were visiting they wouldn't forbid them from visiting our site!

1) Have you ever actually seen the recent sequels (Bambi II, Tarzan 2, etc) which are all done much better than the early sequel days (Hunchback 2, Cinderella 2)?

2) Care to offer a reason why you think they are bad? Saying "the rest are horrible" doesn't really telling us anything.
