I think this year has some potentially interesting films coming out (sadly not too many are of the animated variety for me).

The Fountain (just come out in the UK)
Grindhouse
Paprika
TMNT
Zodiac
Ratatouille
There Will Be Blood
I'm Not There
Hellboy 2
The Fantastic Mr Fox/Where the Wild Things Are - Both slated for 08 (but you never know).

It does have a 2008 release date at the moment I'm just foolishly hoping it gets moved forward.

Hellboy 2. Man that is one flick I am waiting to see, I saw the first after a fanboy in the Comic/Games shop was telling us about how great the GN were. I went expecting to enjoy, and left just blown away by Ron Pearlman's effort.

But why Borat? Neither spoof or big blockbuster, and why spoof a spoof? Seems thrown in, but artistic contribution is probably the last thing on these guys' minds!

Same here.....I had a bad feeling about it though...with all those "Hit on the head jokes"not much "wit"......I mean Mr. Tumnus with hip-hop girls, the chocolate river a "sewer" river.........rapping Pirates.....that's really desperate humor.

Really disappointing.

But 3%........

I wonder just how bad was this film???

I would have loved to see a better send-up of some of these films!

Well, at least there's always The Editing Room.....

And Mad Magazine of course!
