Indeed. While his roles were often small, Jack was great at what he did. One of my favorites was Mr. Shark from Toy Story. "Look, I'm Woody! Howdy, howdy, howdy!"

Television screenwriter Bob Baker has passed at 82. Best known for co-creating the characters Axons, K9 and Omega from "Doctor Who", and co-writing the Wallace and Gromit shorts and films.

91 is an awesome age to get to, but it’s still something of a shock, and amazingly sad, when it happens and we lose someone like this. One of my personal heroes to me.

RIP Steve.

Was taken aback when I read he had passed while at Comic Con. It was even brought up at the tail end of Brent Spiner's spotlight panel as he was an original Broadway cast member Sunday in the Park with George. Spiner noted he had just heard about it in the middle of his autograph session and said in his panel he would gladly play in any Sondheim show if ever asked.

Had to go in and out of London by car today, necessitating around two and a half hours on travel…perfect to run a Sondheim playlist of random songs. What magic. Also just ordered Warner Archive's new Blu of his The Last Of Sheila, which as much as I was a fan, I must admit that I had never heard of before. Very much looking to run that in tribute when it arrives!

Quite the fun whodunit. So many layers, even the title is a clue.

Bob Dole dead at 98. I'll remember him most from his parodies on The Simpsons, Futurama and Family Guy. "Bob Dole just likes to hear Bob Dole talk about Bob Dole...Bob Dole!"

This one hurts big time... Betty White has passed away at 99. A few weeks shy of her 100th, and the day before the new year! I'm so crushed. Thank you for being a friend. 💔 :(

This is rotten news. I think they already filmed her 100th birthday special, too!

...Yes, it'll still come out on her birthday.

Such a shame that she has passed already, but we were lucky to have her as long as we did. Well, Heaven just got funnier!

TV Land is right now airing a Golden Girls marathon in tribute. Love that show! On January 9th MeTV will pay tribute by showing select episodes of "The Mary Tyler Moore Show", "Mama's Family" and "The Love Boat".

Shame that had it not been for Covid, Betty would've been in a Christmas movie for Lifetime. Was so looking forward to it. Glad her birthday special will move forward.
