Disney's Hercules (Live-Action)

Based on how Aladdin turned out, I am neither thrilled nor terrified at the prospect of a Ritchie Hercules.

Let's just keep grinding these out! Just so long as we eventually get to a new Rescuers film.

Maybe we'll get a remake of The Black Cauldron - but I feel that ship has passed and should have occurred when Lord of the Rings was a major thing in cinemas.

I was going to post exactly that about TBC…but I do believe a Chronicles Of Prydain franchise starter is in development…

...so it’s only a matter of time before we get "alternate reimaginings" of current or at least recent films!

There's that upcoming one with Cinderella's stepsisters that fits the bill.

I actually thought that stage show and Cinders III plot was quite a good one, where Lady Tremaine manages to undo the happy ever after by nabbing Fairy Godmother's wand. That could be quite epic in live-action with the same Branagh cast, seeing as there were very few songs in it. That could be a good one…

Danny DeVito really wants to appear. I would love it, as I've said before, but I have a feeling Disney will go with someone else. Here's hoping!

Most likely one of the unimpressed "...So??" city folk when Herc first tries to announce his new career.

I have never been on this, let alone trained by it. And the "experimental approach" sounds like this might go a bit too far in the opposite direction, especially with Guy on board. Train wreck waiting to happen? At least it might be an interesting train wreck!

Sounds like Encanto to me... which isn't exactly the bee knees. Of course they could just be saying that to get a reaction, which it has. I'm just happy songs weren't scrapped. Maybe we willl get Taron Egerton if that earlier rumor proves true. He would be awesome!

I actually heard about two months ago that this was deaded. Maybe they needed a break to come back and try again, but it was definitely scrapped at some point recently…
