I saw the trailer had "Hoodwinked", and I have to say that I was more or less impressed. This at least looks like it will be entertaining for what it is.
"Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, but today is a gift--that is why it's called the present."
Yeah. I probably wouldn't shell out ten bucks for it (I'm saving to see Happy Feet in 3-D, anyway), but I might give it a shot at a second-run theater. 50 cents on Monday, woo!
I hear a lot of "They are copying/ripping off Madagascar" but that is not true at all. Although Madagascar came out in theaters first, production started on this first. The Wild is not copying Madagascar.
Overall, I think it will be a pretty good movie (it certainly looks better than Over the Hedge, Monster House & Happy Feet).
Though I mentioned it goinglive the other week or so, the site went through some changes and was delayed. It's now online but may disappear. Trailer formats needed work, etc. Click HERE You can only watch the trailer right now - or download it!
On a note of interest, "The Wild" just got a G rating. Is anyone else a little surprised? I mean, the trailer had a lot of jokes involving the koala hurting his crotch.
