That’s a Honey, I Shrink The Kids reboot sequence ready and waiting to roll right there!

I know it’s cool to do it in one shot, but I’d kind of liked to have seen a/the car actually racing around on the track, too, to get a sense of the size and speed. Yes, it would have meant some cuts, but since that isn’t actually one full shot anyway (certainly there are a handful of times the sky chances, and that’s not down to camera fluctuations) then it wouldn’t have mattered anyway.

Would have just been even more awesomer to have maybe tried over and over to capture it in one true shot (kind of a cheat to present it like that when it isn’t really), like that other guy did with his Rube Goldberg-like "Swish Machine'" but, clearly, that’s still some feat of building a LOT of HotWheels track!

Whee! That was fun, totally epic. Wasn't expecting the under water part!

Astonishingly accurate rendition of Robin Williams; the footage here is from what (I think) may be a potential biopic.
This actor is incredible; it’s just like seeing Robin again! :)

Pretty good! He's got the eyes!

The actor who played Robin in the Mork and Mindy TV movie did surprisingly well, too.

This actually doesn’t look too different to that TV movie, which I still think is one of the better examples of that sub-genre of such biopics (the Judy Garland one is largely exemplary too).

What TV movie? Watching the performance, I immediately started thinking about how (knowing what we know now), a "Robin" movie COULD be about Williams' imaginative idealism vs. his tenuous hold on reality.
Which means, of course, that his role-model mentorship with Jonathan Winters--who also briefly had a manic mental-health incident earlier in his career brought on by too much improvisation--would be a subplot to factor in the story, if only we could imagine who to cast in the role: Tom Wilkinson would be too old.

...Darnit, Jamie, you're making me imagine a whole good movie, here, don't frustrate us like that!

Yep! It was a low-budget effort, but it had a pretty good script and an awesome cast of unknowns. The actors for Williams and Marshall were outstanding.

I’m glad I was able to get you a copy! Would make a pretty nice Blu if someone starred releasing some of these things (again the same with the Judy biopic).

Have any of you heard of a web cartoon called Happy Tree Friends? I've been watching it, and had I watched it as a child, that would've left me traumatized by all the bloody violence and gore. And that still scares me, yet I wonder why the hell these videos exist.

I only watched them because I watched a Saberspark review about HTF, and I watched a few to see what they were like. I heard of it as a student in high school, especially because I knew a student who had a jacket with the green, bipolar bear Flippy on it, who could be driven to the point of killing other characters if he sees something that reminds him of the traumatic experiences he had in war.
