Because Mario is So 90's, and while it took them this long to hammer out a "real" Mario movie, the idea hasn't freshened any since the days of Bob Hoskins?

I admit the only Mario world I know is the cart racing game. So it's odd to not see this be an animated Fast and the Furious haha.
