The music used at the end of the "King Kong" teaser is the same that was used at the end of the final "Fantastic Four" trailer. I said that for no reason whatsoever.
"Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, but today is a gift--that is why it's called the present."
Jack Black's a great actor. I just had to say that.
I don't know if anyone remembers but he had this tiny role in The Cable Guy as Matthew Broderick's best friend, who sees early on that the Cable Guy is nuts. (as if you couldn't tell) I thought he did a really good job.
You can’t just have your characters announce how they feel! That makes me feel angry!
I'm not a Black fan (like many comedians today, I find him a one-note comic), but he DID pull off a different character for Shark Tale and in the actual clips (not trailers) I've seen from Kong, he looks to have pulled this off too. There's a real sense of living on the edge in his performance there which I hope carries over to the film itself.
And, yeah, well worth mentioning the Fan-4 trailer music was the same as that used in the first Kong teaser - I noticed that myself when both were playing earlier this year in theaters, often at the same screening!

It's great music. Wonder where it came from.
