My first thought was that it WAS Gravity Falls, and "Oh, what are they doing with it now?"
FWIH, the Gravity Falls look is supposed to be the new "Cal Arts style" that young animators are learning, and still no explanation of why.

"The Beatles sneak peek", btw, is for Peter Jackson's "Get Back", which, like Disney & Fantasia 2000, was originally intended to be a permanent authorized extended-recut of "Let It Be"--one that Sir Paul approved, where there's less breakup-bickering and more of the fun jam sessions--but there turned out to be enough usable footage for an entire separate movie.
So, now that Paul has his fair-and-balanced Equal-Time version of events, there's rumors it's finally going to be released in a double-feature disc WITH Let It Be when it hits Blu-ray. And about danged time, too. 8)

Well that’s been known for a while now: the Let It Be album will get the Sgt Pepper/White Album deluxe treatment with remastered audio and both docs. Look to pony up well over a hundred bucks for the premium set though, probably in a year's time.

Given his Netflix deal the thought didn't even come to mind.

Not a real series but a gag segment in the 616 series. A bit more aimed for older fans however. Still it's the first time brute force has been animated! Brute force was a short lived comic that marvel made in the 90s to cash in on ninja turtles. Yes it's a corny as it sounds.

What did you guys think of this?

Wow, it's for real. I had to check the Grand Comics database to be sure. Though I have no recollection of this series it's pretty awesome that it got a short animation. There must be a couple of fans that were over the moon to see it. :)

I've only watched one 616 episode so far, the quite fantastic episode about Japanese Spidey.

Like most fans, I may consider actually watching a second episode besides that one.
(I didn't know Stan liked the Japanese version!)

D+ is literally drowning in self-referential clip and BTS series of their own existing franchises (apparently, there's going to be a Marvel-clips version of "Zenimation"), when what they really need is one good in-house equivalent of Netflix's "The Toys/Movies That Made Us" to push their brands.
616 might just be that show, but remains to be seen.

(So long as they stay away from the easy "Captain Marvel/Black Widow/Black Panther will change the world!" demographic pandering.)

Yep, charming little movie. Simply gorgeous. Carol Burnett was brilliant.
