I'm not sure it'll do it, but I wouldn't be surprised to see Cap pass Ultron. Although it's a much better film, that one may have put off fringe audiences to stay away for this, though once word of mouth goes around it could urge them to come back to the MCU.
As for Nyong'o, apparently she's also a very lovely person.
And while I'd like to see one too, why do they keep asking actors who they'd "like" to play?
I don't know what Squirrel Girl does other than be half squirrel, but I could be half squirrel!"
You don't....even..........okay.
Norman Reedus hadn't read Ghost Rider comics either when everyone asked whether he "should" play him, but he at least knew there was a motorcycle involved.
It was definitely the beginning of an era. Before this movie, my brother forced me to watch Thor since I'd be introduced to a couple characters in The Avengers. Now I count the days until any MCU film is released.
"New Warriors revolves around about six young people with powers living and working together. With powers and abilities on the opposite end of the spectrum of The Avengers, the New Warriors want to make a difference in the world ... even if the world isn't ready. With Freeform focused on a group dubbed "becomers" — those experiencing a series of firsts in life including first loves and first jobs — New Warriors explores the journey into adulthood, except in this world, they're not quite super and not yet heroes and the guys can be as terrifying as bad dates.
The series will feature Marvel fan-favorite "Squirrel Girl" (aka Doreen Green) as a totally empowering fan girl who is described as tough, optimistic and a natural leader. Doreen is confident and has the powers of a squirrel: she's acrobatic, can fight and talk to other squirrels. Her most important trait is said to be her faith in people and ability to teach them to believe in themselves."
Ben wrote:I never caught either of the first two Thors in the cinema, but I may have to check this one out!
The first Thor, while maybe not earth-shaking, at least raised our faith in the MCU that Hemsworth was a crazy/sporting enough actor to bring Thor off note-perfect for the first time without a bit of irony, the second movie was...well, it's not considered the worst official MCU anymore, now that we have Avengers 2.
(And yes, I did get the distinct impression that this trailer was groomed to play before Guardians of the Galaxy 2.)
