No, the Spencer Tracy version was already released on its own a couple of months ago.

Yes, which I held off on knowing that the '31 was coming…and that we would probably, hopefully get a double feature set down the line. I can wait… ;)

I’m still holding out on that ultimate James Bond set, for when they finally finish making all those movies… ;)

So, there'll be ANOTHER one after "No Time For the Series to Die"?

Podcast interview with George Feltenstein. Very good from what I've skimmed. He sounds very optimistic about classic animation for next year! In part because most of what would've been released this year was delayed.

WA rumour: No titles for November, and just two for December, including the immortal classic Attack of the 50 foot Woman!! S'about time! I can't believe we got Queen of Outer Space and The Giant Behemoth years ago, but have been waiting on AoT50FW! Hopefully it's a nice restoration. :)

Cool, that's...oh, wait, I'm thinking of The Giant Gila Monster. That's a different movie, isn't it? :P

[Dan/Dacey disclaimer: Yes, I know. I just haven't rented it yet.]

I'm still hoping for a Touché Turtle & Dumm-Dumm DVD set, to complete The Wally Gator Show.

Not sure why WA opted to split the segments for this show into separate releases, when all of their previous H-B sets contained complete 2- or 3-segment versions .. though, I suppose it's better to have ⅔ of the show, than the 'none' of it we'd had before. :|

A second M-G-M Tom & Jerry blu-ray collection would be nice, too.

As I originally wrote:
Daniel wrote: August 5th, 2019, 1:17 pmLooks like we may be waiting a while yet for the Touché & Dumm-Dumm set. According to Jerry Beck:
They have prints of everything but a lack of negatives. That’s the problem. Wally Gator and Lippy the Lion had a higher percentage of negatives available. They are undecided on whether they should release Touché Turtle or not, so if you want them to, make your voice heard.
I sympathize wanting to make these releases the best they can be, but you can't release two-thirds of a show and leave us hanging. Surely they jest! At this point we just want it released regardless.
I'm still hoping too.

It’s not like they’re talking 4K or eve Blu-ray! A DVD would be fine for print transfers, as most of the early Archive discs were…

Still can’t get my head around why we never got the "ready to go" second MGM T&J collection…!
