Yeah, I thought that as well. But than I remember, "Rose, your gonna die an old, old woman, warm in her bed."

He was bad, I'll admit, but I don't think he's as bad as everyone makes him out to be.

Sorry, but what's wrong with that?

But than I remember, "Rose, your gonna die an old, old woman, warm in her bed." Crying or Very sad

I loved that part too!

One of the few he did quite well. :)

Oh no, there was nothing wrong with it, I just thought it wasn't done very convincingly, very cliche, Horatio Alger, "keep striving and you'll make it" type thing. I think being poor while happy and determined to live life to the fullest is quite admirable, but Cameron's script....*shakes head*

Plus, Leo's southwestern accent came and went and then somehow magically transformed into a Cali one by the end of the film.....

I also don't think he was as bad as people said...plus, I read somewhere ages ago that it wasn't even how he wanted Jack to be, he wanted to make him much more complex and Cameron told him "no" and to stick to the script....figures.....

Two weeks to go before the French Premiere!! I hope I won't be disappointed after so much hype.

As Borat would say: "Niiiiiiicccce!!" (Sorry Ben. :P)

Very cool though. :)

Non-US countries always have the best posters....remember the Titanic one with Jack and Rose?

So much better than the American ones!! :?

*********************************************************

I also love how Spidey (WITH HIS MASK ON ) looks very "comic-booky" and cartoon- like in that picture, especially with the colors and motion.
In many posters nowadays, they really play up the whole Tobey thing:

My school bookstore has a 5.99 bargain version of Spidey 2 for kids (in the general trade book section), with photos of the film on every page....(a movie tie-in book, not a junior novelization.)

One thing is weird: it ends completely differently than the film did.

Maybe it was just too complicated to convey (my guess) but the book ends with Peter and MJ at that coffee shop, and they both just "agree to be friends". Apparently MJ never finds out that Pete is really Spider-Man...this all takes place after the final confrontation with Dock Ock.

Oh yes...Raimi for The Hobbit

I like Raimi, but if Jackson doesnt want to direct it, the movie simply shouldnt be made.

Early reactions to Spidey!!! :)

I got this link from RT but didn't read through it, ****************(heavy spoilers)****************** although RT said that both reactions were quite positive and one in particular said the film outdoes S1 and 2. :D

Apparently, (at least according to RT) the spoilers are hardcore. I didn't look at it, but thought I might as well post it in case anyone just wanted to skim through it or something.

You might want to wait until after you've seen the film--we should start a countdown!! :)
