I know there’s been very little info on this upcoming film (just that it’s being filmed in Long Island and New Jersey) so thought I’d start up a thread to talk about it.
I would post a link to the tiny amount of information available, but all THOSE stories are basically CRAMMED with pop-up ads.

(Plus, like I said, basically zero info.)
You can’t just have your characters announce how they feel! That makes me feel angry!

Totally get it—thanks for starting the thread! Even with the lack of details, it’s always fun to speculate and track early production updates. Hopefully we’ll start seeing set photos or casting news soon. And yeah… those ad-filled sites are the worst. Appreciate the heads-up!

From what I hear, John Williams has already written some "themes" for this film. He hasn’t been well lately: he's in a wheelchair and cancelled a few summer concert dates, but let's truly truly hope that he manages to complete a score for this, as it would be such a shame if his last one was for the Pile Of Density. Doing another Spielberg UFO movie would bring things around full circle for both of them, almost, in a way.
